Registry Partners enjoyed attending the Georgia Tumor Registrars Association (GATRA) Annual Education Conference “Relax, Recharge, Repeat” at Lake Blackshear Resort & Golf Club in Cordele, GA from November 4-6, 2019. The conference covered several topics including Surgical Oncology, Breast Cancer Histology, Genetics, Lung Screening/Lung Cancer, Noninvasive Follicular Thyroid Neoplasm w/ Papillary like Nuclear Features, Climbing the Data Mountain, Radiation Therapy Coding Phases, Telegenetics, Concurrent Abstracting, Breast Reconstruction, Breast/Colorectal SSDI’s Case Scenarios, Biomarkers-Precision Medicine, Staging Bee Interactive Staging Game, Abstracting Errors, Neoadjuvant Staging and Future of Cancer Diagnosis and Treatment.
During the GATRA Annual Education Conference, they had several fun events. Monday night was Dinner and DJ “UnPlug” and Tuesday night was a Paint Party! We enjoyed networking with our fellow CTRs.
