Karen McCracken, Project Specialist for the Oncology Service line at Registry Partners, celebrated her 10-Year Anniversary on November 1, 2021.
Karen’s career began with us in November 2011 and throughout her time she has worked in various roles and switched between part-time and full-time. When asked what it means to reach this milestone she said, “I find my 10-year anniversary holds more meaning than my first 10 years in the CR field (so young!), and my previous 10-year anniversary with a large health system where I spent 24 years. The meaningful service award of a beautiful clock was a wonderful surprise! I received congratulatory emails from RP leadership from my first years and latest years with RP Oncology Services.”
When asked what has contributed to her longevity with the company, Karen said, “I am very grateful for the opportunity to continue working part-time for Registry Partners Oncology Services. The flexibility and convenience of a very well-supported virtual workplace/remote environment provided have contributed to my longevity. I appreciate this has allowed me to have time and energy to provide care for my family. I also believe in having the stability of working on a hospital project I have been committed to since beginning with Registry Partners, while also being assigned to work on other projects as needed and time allows. Both rewarding and challenging, ongoing changes in both the Cancer Registry industry and growth of RP over the years has been incredible, amazing!”
She also said that others should consider a career with us because “RP offers opportunities where experience is appreciated (and applied), new abilities are recognized, advancement is available, and professional growth is valued. New and experienced CTRs receive training, guidance, and opportunities to move forward and upward. Registry Partners Oncology Services builds great relationships with their clients and employees.”
