Q & A with Courtney:

Q: What do you find to be the most rewarding part of your career in healthcare quality?

A: Knowing that I am helping people receive the best possible care that is up to date and evidenced based.

Q: With so many career options in the healthcare industry, why did you choose a career focused on data collection and clinical outcomes?

A: I love measurable outcomes! I believe that data can help people look at something through the same objective lens. Ideally, this puts people on common ground to be able to discuss Quality Improvement and problem solve together.

Q: What advice can  you give others who may be considering a remote position outside the clinical setting?

A: It is wonderful! I love that I no longer have a commute and I can wear my slippers to work rather than heels. It is also great to have my dog with me in the office everyday.
