How common is Testicular Cancer in the United States?

Although testicular cancer is rare, only about 1 in every 250 males will develop testicular cancer, there is an average of 9,000 new testicular cancers diagnosed in the United States each year resulting in approximately 400 deaths.  

What age groups are most commonly impacted by Testicular Cancer?

It is important to raise awareness of testicular cancer beginning with the adolescent age group. Testicular cancer is most commonly diagnosed in males ages 15 to 44  with an average age at diagnosis being 33. About 6% of testicular cancers are diagnosed in children/teens and approximately 8% in men age 55 or older.

What type of outcome do Testicular Cancer patients have?

The risk of dying from testicular cancer is very low with an average of 1 in 5,000 due to the available treatment options and success rate of treatment.
