Kim has worked for Registry Partners since August, 2013, as a part time project CTR and was promoted to a project manager in 2016. Her twenty-one years of experience with CoC accredited cancer programs, have prepared her well for her new position as CoC Project Manager.
Kim works with several programs providing leadership and coordination of their Commission on Cancer activities and survey readiness. Kim is currently working with a new program seeking their first Commission on Cancer accreditation and attended their first cancer committee meeting in Hawaii!
Kim began her cancer registry career in 1995, working in the cancer registry for McLaren Regional Medical Center in Flint, Michigan. Kim became a Certified Tumor Registrar in 1999. She is a member of the National Cancer Registrars Association and Michigan Cancer Registrars Association.
Kim resides in Flushing, Michigan, with her husband and two sons Benjamin. In Kim’s spare time, she enjoys bicycling, gardening & camping with her family.
