Heather Price, BS, CTR, Project Manager & Quality Control Manager for Registry Partners, is serving a second term as the National Cancer Registrars Association, Mentoring Committee Chairman.
Price has been a mentor volunteer for NCRA since 2014 and served her first term as the Mentoring Committee Chairman in 2016.
The Mentoring Committee has been active for the past four years. The committee members are very passionate about bringing new people into the profession. The committee has worked with approximately 350 requests for mentoring of prospective CTRs, registrars preparing for the CTR exam and CTRs who want to advance in their careers.
The Committee is also working on a number of projects including the development of products and services to assist registrars preparing for the CTR exam, clinical practicum completion and developing webinars for mentors and mentees.
