31st Annual Educational Conference
September 21st & 22nd, 2017
The Virginia Cancer Registrars Association hosted their 31st Annual Meeting at the University of Virginia – Pinn Hall Conference Center on September 21st and 22nd in Charlottesville, VA.
The keynote speaker, Jaymie Hoffman, shared her story on battling cancer and the importance of accurate data which is a key component of the cancer registry profession … to collect accurate cancer data that helps improve the way we evaluate, diagnose and treat the disease; improving disease free survival and long term outcomes for patients.
Our very own, Heather Price, Project and Quality Control Manager, was elected Treasurer for the Virginia Cancer Registrars Association for the 2017-2018 term. Congratulations Heather!
