Registry Partners enjoyed attending the 2019 Transplantation and Cellular Therapy (TCT) Meetings of ASBMT and CIBMTR held at the George R. Brown Convention Center in Houston, TX from February 19th – 24th.
The TCT meetings are the combined annual meetings of the American Society of Blood and Marrow Transplantation (ASBMT) and the Center for International Blood & Marrow Transplant Research (CIBMTR). The conference welcomed everyone involved or interested in “current events” within hematopoietic cell transplantation.
Sessions were tailored for specific disciplines and roles in hematopoietic cell transplantation, but attendees could choose to customize their conference experience by participating in any of the diverse meetings and presentations. In addition to the meetings, there were hundreds of abstracts and poster presentations, which included topics such as:
- Ethical issues related to cellular therapies
- Enhancements to CIBMTR forms
- Nutritional research and recommendations for cellular transplant patients
- Advances in graft versus host disease (GVHD) prophylaxis and treatment
Registry Partners was one of 78 exhibitors showcased at the conference. We were excited to meet and talk with some of our current CIBMTR partners as well as share our mission and vision with future partners. The lucky winner of our “Register to Win” giveaway was Karen Wright and she received a carry-on suitcase with USB charger. Congratulations to Karen!
