Try Aunt Jane’s Crazy Cocktail Meatballs – They’re Sure To Be A Hit!

Aunt Jane shared her Crazy Cocktail Meatballs recipe with us twenty years ago and it has been a family favorite ever since.  The ingredients are a bit “crazy”, hence the name … certainly things I would never think to combine together BUT oh, how delicious these meatballs taste! YUM!

*Meatballs: Combine 1 cup of bread crumbs, 2 pounds of ground beef, 3 eggs and 1 package of onion soup mix together to form your meatballs.  Brown the meatballs over low to medium heat until fully cooked.   Sauce: Combine 1-12 oz can of Sauerkraut (undrained), 1 bottle of Heinz chili sauce (once bottle is emptied, fill with water and add water to mix), 1 can of whole cranberry sauce.  Mix well and pour over meatballs.  Bake at 300 degrees for 1 hour.  *You can substitute frozen meatballs prepared per package directions, then add the sauce mixture and simmer or cook on low in the crock pot.

Bon Appetit!
