Registry Partners would like to wish all of the cancer registrars a Happy National Cancer Registrars Week. The theme for 2020 is Cancer Registrars: 2020 Vision for the Future.
In this time of uncertainty with social distancing and stay-at-home orders, it is important for us to stay connected and build a vision for the future. Remember, the data we collect builds the foundation of future cancer treatments as well as research opportunities to help improve the lives of those living with cancer.
Looking back and seeing what we, as cancer registrars, have accomplished to date is amazing. Imagine how much more we can accomplish moving forward with our vision for the future; a vision of hope to live without cancer in the world or at least a cure for all cancers.
You all deserve recognition and support for all the hard work you do, and even though our celebrations may be different this year, you still must celebrate even if you are by yourself. You have earned it!!
