The American College of Surgeons (ACS) 2019 Cluster Programs
April 7, 2019 - April 9, 2019
April 7–9, 2019
Crown Plaza O’Hare, Rosemont, IL
The American College of Surgeons (ACS) 2019 Cluster Programs will provide attendees with three consecutive days of one-day programs to educate, engage, and enhance your understanding of the following programs:
National Accreditation Program for Breast Centers (NAPBC)—April 7
Commission on Cancer (CoC)—April 8
National Accreditation Program for Rectal Cancer (NAPRC)—April 9
Developed by ACS Cancer Programs leaders and staff, these three single-day sessions will provide you with a high-level review of the information your cancer, breast, or rectal program needs to provide high-quality, patient-centered, multidisciplinary care.
Whether you are preparing for an initial accreditation survey or re-accreditation, these one-day programs are a must attend. We will address your most common questions and challenges with the Cancer Programs standards and compliance criteria. Gain increased understanding of the requirements and strategies for implementation, learn best practices from your peers, and speak to the experts involved in creating the standards.
On April 9, you will be introduced to the latest cancer accreditation program from the ACS—the National Accreditation Program for Rectal Cancer (NAPRC). We will explain the value to your patients, introduce you to the standards, and provide details on how to prepare for survey and become NAPRC accredited. Please note that CoC accreditation is a prerequisite for NAPRC accreditation.
