Whether this is your first time attending the National Cancer Registrar’s Association annual educational conference or your 42nd, each one is so unique based on location, agenda topics, speaker’s, exhibits and workshops!
As part of your packing and travel prep, don’t forget to download the conference e-Proceedings at www.CancerRegistryEducation.org and click on “My Learning Activities” tab. You will need to enter your NCRA login and enter “NCRA2016” in the box under “enrollment code redemption” and then click “redeem.” You can also choose to download the Topi App on your mobile device at topi.com. Go to: https://ncra2016.topi.com on your device (iOS and Android), install the app by clicking on the AppStore or Google Play buttons, sign in via Facebook or LinkedIn account, once in the app, enter code: “NCRA2016.” If you need assistance, stop by the registration desk. Attendees are encouraged to download PDF’s to their device before entering the meeting rooms, as the rooms will not have Wi-Fi access.
The actual festivities start on Saturday, April 9th with the SEER Workshop 2016 that required a separate registration for attendance and concludes on Sunday, April 10th.
All general educational conference attendees can visit the meeting registration desk on Sunday, April 10th between 1 pm and 7 pm to pick up any materials, name badge etc. If you are not able to pick up your items on Sunday, you can pick them up anytime on Monday, April 11th between 7 am and 8 pm. You will need to display/wear your registration badge to attend the educational events and exhibit hall during appropriate hours.
The NCRA Business Lunch is on Monday, April 11, 2016 from 12 pm to 1:45 pm and the Welcome Reception/Exhibit Hall Grand Opening is also on Monday from 5:30 pm to 8 pm be sure to come and visit with your friends from Registry Partners at booths 27 and 28 any time during exhibit hall hours Monday night, Tuesday, April 12th from 7 am – 3 pm (including free ice cream during the free lunch period!!) and Wednesday, April 13th from 7 am – 10:15 am.
“Come Comply with Us” (Linda Reimers and Lisa Landvogt) will be presenting CoC Studies on Wednesday, April 13th for the Hospital Registry Track in Paradise South! You won’t want to miss this fun with education session!
Lastly, the NCRA Awards, Installation, Recognition Luncheon on Wednesday, from 12:45 pm – 2:30 pm followed by plenty of afternoon sessions to choose from.
The conference concludes with two post conference events; a One-Day Intensive CTR Exam Prep Training and NPCR’s Educational and Training Coordinators workshop.
