Accreditation Consultant

$1500 Sign-on bonus incentive for Accreditation Consultant happening NOW at Registry Partners! Full-Time will receive a $1500 sign-on bonus if they sign an offer letter by February 28, 2022. The payout will consist of 2 payments. 1st payout will be once employee completes 30 days of employment of half of the amount ($750) and second payout will be processed once employee completes 180 days of Full- Time employment under Accreditation Consultant position.

Job Overview

The Accreditation Consultant is responsible for overseeing accredited cancer program projects in accordance with America College of Surgeons (ACoS) and Commission on Cancer (CoC) accredited program standards, completing all tasks related to project setup, implementation, and training for assigned project(s), supervising and supporting project teams, managing workflow/work assignments, following standardized procedures, and complying with documentation practices and requirements. Also ensures the timely completion, compliance, and accuracy of all data management activities such as NCDB, RCRS, etc., and has expert knowledge, as well as stays abreast of all industry requirements, changes and expectations.

The Accreditation Consultant provides supervision, portrays a professional and positive work ethic and attitude, cooperative, committed, dependable, and able to multi-task. This individual must be organized, demonstrate initiative, ensure efficient use of time and resources, and possess effective problem-solving skills. In addition, written and oral communication is effective, professional, and grammatically correct.


Requirements and Experience:

  • A minimum of 3 years of current CoC Accredited Cancer Program experience, preferred
  • Travel for Accreditation Committee Meetings required as requested by clients
  • CoC accreditation, compliance, and abstracting experience
  • Competent and highly proficient with CoC standards & CoC survey process
  • Personal computer with Windows 8 operating system or higher
  • Successful completion of pre-employment skills assessment exam
  • A minimum of 3 years of registry management or other health-related management experience, preferred
  • A minimum of 3 years of Cancer Registry experience, preferred
  • Must comply with Client’s immunization policy may include proof of COVID-19 vaccination or medical or religious exemption


  • Current Certified Tumor Registrar (CTR) certification, required
  • A minimum of an Associates or Bachelor’s degree in Health Information Management or related field, preferred
