Q & A with Sandy:

Q: Why do you believe the healthcare quality field is so important?

A: The healthcare quality field is important to ensure we all get appropriate care.  No matter where you are or what type of health care services you need, quality makes sure you receive care that aligns with current best practices with good outcomes, preventing harm to patients in our care.

Q: Having worked in the clinical patient care setting for a number of years, what made you decide to seek opportunities outside of direct patient care?

A: I chose to leave bedside nursing to look at the big picture of quality outcomes.  I wanted to have an impact on the process of caring for patients and ensuring that each patient received appropriate care every time they came into my hospital.

Q: What do you enjoy most about working for Registry Partners?

A: I like that the daily routine is anything but routine.  I enjoy working with different clients and constantly learning and being challenged.
