Registry Partners is pleased to announce one of our clients, Doctors Hospital, in Augusta, Georgia has received designation as an Accredited Metabolic and Bariatric Surgery Center through the American College of Surgeons.
Doctors’ is part of the Metabolic and Bariatric Surgery Accreditation and Quality Improvement Program (MBSAQIP) available through the American College of Surgeons.
Registry Partners has assisted Doctors Hospital with collecting and submitting bariatric surgical data to the ACS MBSAQIP registry. Their bariatric program completed an initial site survey in April 2018 resulting in accreditation and then in November 2018, also awarded the United Healthcare Optum Bariatric Center of Excellence designation.
