ACE recently accepted its 4th Fellowship class with 4 individuals accepted and matched to mentors who were prior graduates.  This year’s applicants exceeded ACE’s capacity and included their 1st international applicant.

The board of ACE established a governing committee several years ago to develop the curriculum, oversee selection, and serve to support to programs growth.  The goal of the program delivers on three areas: 1) education, 2) networking, and 3) opportunity.  Fellows work over the course of a year to complete projects that advance the  profession, write an article for the ACE newsletter, serve on a committee, network, and provide a presentation to an organization.

Steven Castle participated in the fellowship program and spoke at the 2015 ACE annual meeting.  His topic was modeling a financially viable cancer survivorship program that met the new Commission on Cancer Standards and reviewing a wide range of available tools to support deliver.

The members of ACE are key leaders for oncology programs and are providing an excellent opportunity for individuals to grow within oncology administration.  For more information on the fellowship program or membership, please contact Brian J. Mandrier at director@cancerexecutives.org
